Woodrow Wilson House weddings in Washington DC

Woodrow Wilson House weddings take place in the former home of President Woodrow Wilson. The house has a great deal of history and prestige, and is a very classy place to celebrate your wedding day!

The home was completed in 1915, located in the Embassy Row neighborhood of Washington, DC. The architectural style is Georgian Revival, with a marble entryway, palladian windows, and a grand staircase. After retiring from the White House, President Wilson and his wife occupied the home until his death in 1921 and hers in 1961, respectively. He was the only president to date to retire permanently in Washington, DC (although the Obamas currently reside here as well). At the time of Mrs. Wilson's death, the home passed to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Fortunately, the house is available for events and it has beautiful terraced gardens in the back to accommodate outdoor events.

Historic mansions abound in Washington, DC but the Woodrow Wilson House is really a special venue for your wedding. You can check out their website if you'd like more details!
