Washington DC elopement

I would love to photograph your Washington DC elopement. There is something special about these private ceremonies! When you bypass the details and the guests, the beauty and simplicity of the couple saying their vows shines through, and it is an honor to be a Washington DC elopement photographer.
To obtain a marriage license in Washington DC, at least one member of the couple must complete an application at the Moultrie Courthouse. Proof of age for both parties is required by government issued ID. The fee for the license is $35, and the certificate of marriage is $10. The marriage license does not have an expiration date.
You can plan a special elopement day with your husband or wife to be! Start with a relaxing spa massage, then a salon to get you ready if you need professional hair and makeup. After your ceremony, spend some time with a Washington DC elopement photographer to get portraits of the two of you as a couple in memorable parts of the city! You can also make time for family portraits if some of your close relatives will be present to witness your ceremony!
Choosing a neighborhood for your Washington DC elopement isn't easy, as there are so many great options! You can choose Penn Quarter for its vibrant restaurant scene and proximity to the White House and other important sites. Or you can choose Georgetown for its architectural appeal and river view.
Or, you can simply get married at the Courthouse itself and keep it simple. Be sure to make an appointment at least 2-3 weeks in advance to assure you get a time slot for your DC courthouse elopement!
