This intimate Tudor Gardens wedding took place on an absolutely beautiful May weekend in Georgetown!
Tudor Place is a lovely historic home with beautifully manicured grounds, hidden in a quiet Georgetown neighborhood.
Based around a beautiful historic mansion, originally owned by Martha Washington's granddaughter, Tudor Place weddings have large, stunningly designed green spaces for the ceremony and for wedding portraits.
This Tudor Gardens wedding took place in the sunken garden area, guarded by two large stone greyhounds. With an old fountain in the back, this location is really pretty and has a lot of charm.
The bride and groom in this case have known each other for many years, and in fact have been together for more than 20! Their guests came from far and wide to celebrate their beautiful Tudor Gardens wedding.
Prior to the ceremony, the bride and groom prep took place at their lovely row house in Georgetown. Then we headed to Tudor Place for pre ceremony cocktails.
When it was time for the official ceremony, the bride and groom made their entrance together, walking down the aisle and greeting family and friends as they advanced.
The sentimental ceremony was filled with personal touches and vows written by the couple. It was truly touching to witness their wonderful relationship and its transition to marriage.
Location: 1644 31st St NW, Washington, DC 20007.
